The Somali Stock Exchange (SSE) aims to be the premier exchange in the Horn of Africa and East Africa. We are dedicated to making financial markets in Somalia run more efficiently, enabling our members to achieve their business and investment goals within a trusted, innovative framework. Four types of membership are available:

Corporate Membership
This option is specifically designed for brokers, institutional investors and proprietary traders. As a SSE corporate member you can trade in a range of financial products on all our platforms including equities, commodities and bonds.
Our corporate members form a network of over hundred trading participants, with a diverse range of corporations including banks, technology companies, energy firms, stockbrokers and institutional investors.
To become a corporate member, you must complete an application form, undergo a due diligence review from the SSE team and formally agree to all Somali Stock Exchange rules and regulations.
Members are then required to obtain appropriate clearing and settlement arrangements in place for their trading activities. SSE’s membership team can provide contact details of accredited clearing and settlement providers available on selected markets.
